A quick look at everything you get with the Nitro Deck+ Clear White bundle, including the HDMI adapter and what's not in the box.
Quick Answer
The Nitro Deck+ Clear White bundle includes the improved handheld deck, the detachable USB-C to HDMI adapter, and a USB-C cable. You do not need a separate Switch dock to use it, but the adapter does not charge the console on its own.
Why the Clear White Version?
The Clear White colorway is a design choice, not a functional difference. It shows off the internal components through a translucent shell, which many fans prefer for a retro-inspired look. The hardware is identical to other Nitro Deck+ models.
Trade-Off: Adapter vs. Full Dock
The included HDMI adapter lets you connect directly to a TV without a standard Switch dock, saving desk space. However, it does not act as a charger. You will need to plug the deck into a power source separately via the USB-C cable if you want to charge while playing on the big screen.
What's in the Box – FAQ
- Does the box include a power adapter?
- No, the Nitro Deck+ Clear White bundle does not ship with a wall charger. You will need your own USB-C power source for charging. Ensure you have a compatible USB-C charger handy before your first use.
- Can I use it wirelessly?
- The Nitro Deck+ is a wired handheld deck. It connects via USB-C and does not support Bluetooth or wireless play. It is designed for direct connection, not for wireless free movement.
- Is the HDMI adapter removable?
- Yes, the USB-C to HDMI adapter detaches from the deck. You can use the deck as a standard handheld without the adapter attached. Store the adapter separately if you only use it for TV sessions.
- Does the adapter support power delivery?
- The adapter is for video output only. It does not support USB Power Delivery and cannot charge the console or your Switch. Plug the USB-C cable into a separate power source while using the adapter for TV mode.
