CRKD Gibson Les Paul Black Tribal Encore FAQ

How do I set up the controller on PC?

Connect the controller via USB or Bluetooth (if supported) to your PC. For PC handhelds, use the same connection method. The controller should be recognized automatically; if not, check for driver updates or consult the manual for pairing instructions. Always ensure your PC’s Bluetooth drivers are up to date before pairing.

Does it work with Nintendo Switch?

Yes, it’s designed for Nintendo Switch. In docked mode, you can connect wirelessly or via USB. In handheld mode, use the USB connection or a compatible adapter. The controller should work with Fortnite Festival and other rhythm games that support guitar controllers. For Switch, verify the game supports guitar controllers—not all rhythm games do.

Can I use it with Android or cloud gaming?

Yes, it supports Android devices including Smart TVs, tablets, and mobile. For cloud streaming like Xbox Cloud Gaming or Luna, connect the controller to your device via Bluetooth or USB. The controller acts as a standard gamepad, so it should be recognized by the streaming app. Test the controller with your preferred cloud service before a long session to ensure button mapping is correct.

Is it compatible with Guitar Hero and Rock Band games?

Yes, it’s designed to relive classic Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. On PC, you may need to use community patches or configure button mappings for older titles. On consoles, compatibility depends on the specific game and console generation. For older PC games, check community forums for the latest compatibility patches.

How do I update the firmware?

CRKD controllers typically have a firmware update tool. Visit the official CRKD website, download the software, connect the controller, and follow the on-screen instructions to update. This ensures the latest compatibility and performance. Check for firmware updates periodically, especially after new game releases.
